Edward Redmond is a talented actor and music producer. He has acted in major film and TV projects in Hollywood and China, including Ballers, Criminal Minds, Sniper and Blue Helmets. He also worked as a news anchor at China Central Television International and hosted StarTimes’ Kung Fu Channel and Star Showcase Show.
Born in Seattle, Edward developed his acting skills at the University of Washington and continues to develop his craft through advanced acting workshops. His music production and mixing techniques were honed at Westlake Recording Studios in West Hollywood, California. Aside from working on his own music projects, he has also worked with artists in mainland China and the U.S. Edward often donates his talents to the Songs of Love Foundation to create personalized songs for young children to cope with serious medical conditions.
Edward’s love of acting, music and culture has inspired him to become a global citizen; he has lived, studied and worked in numerous countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Edward relocated to Los Angeles in 2019 to further his acting career. He holds an MBA, a Juris Doctor degree, an LL.M. in Chinese Law and Executive Education in Trade Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. A native English speaker, he also speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
